Berrigan MPS is a modern 14 bed facility, with 10 residential high care aged places funded by the Commonwealth. There are four flexible inpatient beds, along with a two bay emergency department (ED) and associated treatment rooms. A staff station provides oversight of the acute/inpatient and aged care sections. Community Health service areas are contained within the MPS roofline. The MPS is compliant, in good condition and has adequate storage. Resident accommodation at the MPS consists of single rooms with ensuites. There is a lounge/dining area for residents with pleasant secure outdoor areas. Shared themes for the outdoor areas exist with the private hostel next door to maintain familiarity for residents having to move to the MPS from the hostel.
