Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital is located between Leura and Katoomba. It is an acute hospital with inpatient and outpatient services.

2015 marks the 90th anniversary of the laying of Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital’s foundation stone. The hospital has a proud history of servicing the local community’s health and wellbeing needs and is the states only remaining Anzac Memorial hospital.

Blue Mountains General Manager, Andrea Williams, is supported by her executive team, Ann Attwood, Director of Nursing and Midwifery, Luke Bellman, Business Manager, Nicole Leverton, Administration and Patient Services Manager and a group of dedicated corporate, allied health and clinical staff. 71% of the Hospital’s 584 strong staff are local Blue Mountains residents.

The Hospital’s close links with the community mean that services are relevant and local, with an active Hospital Auxiliary and volunteers and close ties with the Leura Gardens Festival committee, local Rotary and consumer groups, keep us on the pulse of Blue Mountains residents’ health care needs.
