In 2006 the hospital became part of the Calvary group, founded by the Sisters of Little Company of Mary. Calvary John James Hospital is a Catholic not-for-profit organisation, investing its returns to improve and develop facilities, staff and services for the continuing benefit of the community.
Calvary John James Hospital provides surgical and medical services and is the only private maternity unit on the south side of Canberra and we also provide a special care nursery. We have the only purpose built private rehabilitation unit in the ACT.
The Calvary John James site covers 4 hectares of beautifully landscaped gardens which provide a sanctuary to patients and visitors alike.
