Childers MPHS provides acute inpatient, long stay older persons care, emergency medicine, mental health, allied health and oral health services to the Childers and surrounding communities. The delivery of clinical services is an informed, cooperative approach to care, involving the patient and staff with the content, accuracy and availability of medical records, the essential documentation of clinical outcomes.
Funding has recently been approved for the construction of four additional long stay older patient rooms attached to the facility with construction planned for completion in mid 2012.
