Delegate MPS is located in the inland southern part of the Southern NSW Local Health District. The Director of Operations is responsible for overall line management of the facility, while the day-to-day operations are managed by the site Manager. Delegate MPS is a 13 bed facility with 4 acute beds and 9 beds funded for high level aged care residents. The MPS is also funded for respite care. The emergency department operates at level 1.Delegate MPS provides integration of acute services, residential aged services, Home and Community Care (HACC) services and community services under one organisational structure. The range of community services included in the model was determined through consultation with the community, service providers and other funding agencies. This includes 9 residential aged care places and 4 Community Aged Care Packages (CACPs) funded by the Commonwealth under the existing funding agreement.
