The centre serves an area including Tarzali, the Top Gate of Gillies Highway, Yungaburra and Malanda.

The clinic is open from 0800  to 1130 and home visits are conducted between 1300 and 1630. The centre is closed on weekends and public holidays.  The clinic is staffed by one Clinical Nurse Consultant only. No referral is needed to access this service.

There is parking at the front of the building and public toilets are available, both accessible by a ramp.  There are two GP surgery's, pharmacy and ambulance service in Malanda. There is no public transport except for a HACC funded bus which goes to Cairns twice a week and Atherton  twice weekly.
