The health needs of the Mount Perry community are provided by the Mount Perry Health Centre. The centre is staffed from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Services provided include emergency, pharmacy and community home visits. General outpatient clinics are conducted each Wednesday.

Mount Perry is a small township founded on mining and the timber industry. Dominated by the peak of Mount Perry rising 750 metres above the township, historic buildings and remnants of the town's copper mining past can still be seen today.

The scenic area is home to one of regional Queensland's largest gold mines at Mount Rawdon with attractions including an Historical Museum and Arts Centre.

Mount Perry Health Service Centre is a primary health community clinic staffed from 9.00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Services provided include outpatients, and community home visits. Visiting Allied Health Services include child health, immunisation clinics, physiotherapy, dietician, speech pathology, diabetes education, social work, podiatry and Womens Health. A visiting private GP clinic also attends the health centre.
