Mundubbera MPHS was commissioned in May 1999 and provides inpatient and aged care services. Alongside it's nursing and medical saff, visiting Oral, Allied and Community health staff work together to provide a quality service to the community.
Mundubbera MPHS is community focused with pro-active, supportive staff. From the diverse nature of care provided at Mundubbera, staff are able to develop a knowledge base and consolidation of clinical skills.
The Mundubbera Medical Centre is co-located on the grounds of the Mundubbera MPHS. Three single self-contained units and one two bedroom unit are available for Nursing and Allied Health Staff with the town centre within easy walking distance.

It is known as the 'Citrus Capital' of Queensland and is a leading producer of citrus, stone fruits, grapes, pecan nuts and asparagus.
