Find Hospital Accommodation near Murray Valley Private Hospital

The Murray Valley Private Hospital (MVPH) was opened on March 17 1999 by Dr. Michael Wooldridge.
It is Australia’s first rural radiation and medical oncology centre and provides a comprehensive and specialist cancer service to the community of regional Victoria and southern NSW.
Other services provided by MVPH include acute medical care, chemotherapy day patient services, non-anaesthetic same-day procedures, rehabilitation services and low-cost accommodation for outpatients and patient carers.
In October 2001, MVPH gained external recognition of the very high quality of services it provides from two differing sources:
The Australian Council of Health Care Standards (ACHS) awarded MVPH with the maximum four-year accreditation through the Evaluation and Quality Improvement Programme (EQuIP) which is an excellent achievement for a new healthcare facility; and
A national and independent survey of 93 hospitals found that MVPH had the second highest level of satisfaction of all hospitals surveyed. The distinctive competencies that were identified in the survey were (a) the very high calibre of medical and nursing staff; and (b) the exceptional level of courtesy given to both patients and visitors. 100% of patients noted that they would recommend the facility.
Our focus is on the provision of high quality patient/customer care and maintaining an environment which ensures quality and continuous improvement.
