Narrandera Hospital is a 34-bed level three hospital which provides acute and community health care services to the surrounding community.  The original hospital was built in 1894, and Narrandera received a new Acute Care facility in 1992 which is attached to the original building.  The Hospital provides Emergency, Medical, Surgical, High Dependency, Obstetric and Paediatric care.  Booked surgical theatre is provided three times a month, and theatre for Elective Caesarean Sections is also provided.  The regional referral hospital is Wagga Wagga, which is less than an hour away.  Temporary staff accommodation may be available.
