Numurkah District Health is a small rural health service that offers a range of programs and services such as a small hospital with theatre, radiology (X-rays) and an urgent care centre.
The primary health building has district nursing, many community health services and a dental clinic. There is also a large palliative care service, two residential aged care facilities and several small residential units.
Numurkah District Health Service works together with many other organisations to improve the health and wellbeing of our local communities. We have a health promotion and community engagement team that works with Moira Shire Council, local schools, social services, agriculture and many other areas.
