The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services and a 24-hour emergency department. We are supported by local Community Health Centres at Eight Mile Plains, Mount Gravatt, Corinda and Inala.

We provide a range of specialties including general medicine, surgery, cardiology, geriatric medicine, gynaecology, orthopaedics, intensive and coronary care, neurology, gastroenterology, urology and respiratory medicine.

In 2013, QEII completed a $22 million construction project featuring an expanded emergency department and a new endoscopy unit. The new, state-of-the-art emergency department is three times the size of its predecessor and incorporates a modern, spacious design and a new patient transit lounge.

The endoscopy unit is Australia’s most advanced diagnostic facility and features two dedicated blue-glass procedure rooms with the capacity to see more than 5,000 patients a year.
