In 2016 St George Private will also be introducing the O-Arm, providing unsurpassed clarity of imaging for surgeons in real time during spinal surgery; as well as the Da Vinci Xi Robot – a culmination of 25 years of robotic research and development.

Every year St George Private delivers 1700 babies, and high-tech remote baby heartbeat monitoring means we can now view a baby’s heart beat right from the nursing station or from a doctor’s iPad.

St George Private first opened in 1995 following an amalgamation of Kogarah Private, Pacific Private and Bexley Private. The hospital has enjoyed solid growth in the past two decades, and is also recognised for its contributions to research and education.
